Condensation
WIEDEMANN offers ist own design of mixing and surface condensers for the condensation of vapours coming from vacuum pans or evaporation plants.
Mixing Condensers In mixing condensers there is a direct contact between the vapours and the cooling water („direct condensation“).
Advantage: Very good process efficiency due to the intensive contact between vapours and cooling water. Small pressure drop on vapour side.

Surface Condensers In surface condensers the vapours and the cooling water have no direct contact („indirect condensation“).
Advantage: No contamination of the cooling water by contents of the vapour which is to be condensed.
