On the one hand, fossil fuels like coal, petroleum and natural gas are becoming more and more scarce and will be depleted within the next years. On the other hand, the sun will continue to supply energy for the next billion years on a free domicile basis.
A photovoltaic plant transforms the solar radiation into electricity in a completely ecologically compatible way and consequently also lessens the greenhouse effect.
In accordance with the German Renewable Energy Sources Act (Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz EEG) compensation for feeding electrical power into the grid is made with 24,43 Cents (date: 2012) for each kilowatt hour and this for a guaranteed period of 20 years. Consequently, a solar power system cannot only be installed easily but also presents an exceedingly economic investment.
