The Societatea de caritate Iulia is a nonprofit association which was founded in 1990 by the German family Hüttemann. This association addresses itself to the task of catering for and attending to parentless and homeless children. In a state-approved children’s home in Albu Iulia more than 50 children have found a home and get a school education. In addition to this, numerous orphans and families in need get support on the spot. These activities save the life of many children.
